Common Approaches
There's more than one way to approach a patio installation project. Here's a plain-language breakdown of the most common options, so you can go into your estimate with a sense of what might fit your project.
Pavers
Individual interlocking units set over a compacted base. Easier to repair section-by-section and available in many patterns and colors.
Stamped concrete
Poured concrete textured and colored to resemble stone, brick, or tile. A single continuous surface with fewer seams.
Natural stone
Flagstone or similar quarried stone, set individually. A premium, one-of-a-kind look with higher material cost.
